About The ACTGRC
The Australian Capital Territory Gambling & Racing Commission (ACTGRC) is a regulatory body responsible for overseeing all gambling and racing activities in the Australian Capital Territory. Since its establishment in March 2018, the ACTGRC has been instrumental in ensuring the fair, responsible, and accountable conduct of these activities.
The ACTGRC is charged with the task of licensing, controlling, and monitoring all gambling and racing activities in the territory, including sports betting, lotteries, and gaming machines. The Commission comprises seven members, all of whom are appointed by the Minister for Gaming and Racing. These individuals regulate and manage the territory’s gambling and racing activities, including the development and enforcement of relevant legislation and policies. As part of their responsibilities, the Commission has the authority to investigate any suspicious or illegal gambling and racing activities and to take swift action against those responsible.
Overall, the ACTGRC plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of gambling and racing activities in the Australian Capital Territory. Their focus on responsible and accountable conduct helps to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
